It’s been a busy month so far, so busy that I haven’t had time to update you about my latest side-project: podcasting!
I’ve had this idea in my mind for a while that it would be nice to bring more marketing chat to poetry conversations, and more poetry chat to marketing conversation. Poetically Proven Podcast was therefore born!
My first guest was Janet Lees, a poet who also happens to be a branding genius (anyone remember Marks & Spencer’s becoming M&S? She’s behind that move among many other things). We had a fun time (you can hear the giggling) talking about Instagram poetry, and LinkedIn broetry.
My second guest, which I just recorded yesterday, is Steven Dumbleton, who fits on the other side of the conversation: a marketer who enjoys poetry. Our conversation was very much focused on technology taking Richard Brautigan’s ‘All watched over by machines of loving grace’ as its starting point. We chatted about AI poetry, fake news, and freedom online too…
You can listen to both on Soundcloud or iTunes
